Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening

Beauty and Laser Clinic - Manly Radio frequency Skin muscle tightening

Radiofrequency skin tightening (RF) is an aesthetic technique that uses RF energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. The technique induces tissue remodelling and the production of new collagen and elastin. This treatment can be performed on the face and body.

In Beauty and Laser Clinic we use bi-polar Radio frequency which is a new technology for skin tightening treatments. RF is designed to treat loose and sagging skin, energizing, toning and strengthening the muscles and skin.

Loose skin will be firmer, more toned, healthier and younger looking.  Results are noticeable and continuously improve for weeks to come. Radio Frequency can be a stand-alone treatment, or can be used in combination with the other procedures.

Treatable areas include:

  • Forehead and brow
  • Chin and jowls
  • Neck skin
  • Upper arms and hands
  • Abdomen and love handles
  • Buttocks
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Cellulite and stretch marks

RF Skin Tightening has three effects on the skin:

1. Tissue Retraction: The generated heat immediately tightens the skin.
2. New collagen formation: By heating the dermis, new collagen production is stimulated.
3. Improved circulation: Skin Tightening improves blood and lymphatic flow.

What should I expect after my treatment?

Redness and heat in the treated skin disappear within 30 minutes.

How many treatments are recommended?

A course of 8-10 treatments is recommended with weekly treatments. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 14 weeks.
